MEET KATHERINE
I'm Katherine - the strategic mind and empathetic heart behind The Pocket Strategist! I'm a born strategist and coach who's obsessed with helping small business owners and consultants like you turn chaos into clarity and build the thriving business you've always dreamed of.
I know first hand how overwhelming it can be to run a small business while wearing all the hats. I've been there! After years in the corporate world, climbing the ranks from sales to senior HR roles and finally becoming an Operational Excellence Manager, I took the leap and started my own business in early 2020.
But even with over 12 years of experience leading big, diverse teams, managing large budgets, and delivering game-changing projects that boosted efficiency, I still hit burnout. Twice. Once in my corporate career, and again just 18 months into my first venture.
That's when I realised I was driven, ambitious, and had zero boundaries - a combination that left me stressed out and unfulfilled, even though I was 'successful' by most standards.
So, when I founded The Pocket Strategist in January 2022, I knew I had to do things differently. I put super strong boundaries in place and developed a focused strategy to build a business that truly lights me up whilst delivering incredible results for my clients.
Now, I use my skills and hard-won experience to help small business owners and consultants like you do the same. With a BSc in Psychology and certifications as an Online Business Manager® and Director of Operations, I've got the tools and expertise to help you ditch the overwhelm, get focused, and build a business that supports the life you've always wanted.
